It was a typical Colorado summer afternoon. Clouds had come in with much lightning and thunder,
followed by torrential but short rainfall. Soon, the sun had begun to break out, which made for perfect rainbow conditions. Immediately I got into my car and drove to
the intersection of Chaffee County Road 337 and Gregg Drive, an open spot to watch the sky. And then it happened ...

I couldn't fit the entire rainbow in a picture, and so I thought the video above might be a good way to document this. |
